back in london

so i'm back in london. feels good to have the cool weather and familiar words back (english).

leaving for france tomorrow. paris for one night (probably going to have to sleep at the train station due to the fact we couldnt find a place to stay)...then La Rochella (i dont know if i spelled that right) , a 3 hour train ride west from paris.


oh, and is anyone still even reading my posts....?

firenze, italy

firenze (florence) is a city of art. beautiful.

time goes by waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast here. i look at the map and california seems like an entire different world...million of miles away.

overnight train ride to paris tomorrow night then eurostar back to london. we are thinking of either wales or scotland after london... then paris and dublin, ireland before our trip back home to the states.

its funny how things happen to you unexpectedly. i meet new people and learn something new everyday here.... something that ive always dreamt of doing, it seems a bit surreal right now..but hey, not complaining.

padova and venice, italy

we stayed at a friends friend house here in padova the last 2 nights. very nice guy. visited venice yesterday...beautiful.

leaving for florence today for a couple of days. going with the flow now.

its hard to believe ive been gone for three weeks now. we are busy everyday and it makes time whoosh by a bit too quickly. but thats a good thing, it means im having fun.

zurich

made it into zurich. all we need to worry about is actually getting in touch with this friend of ours here.

one quote i meant to include in my blog yesterday but forgot --

back to my point, zurich is gorgeous.

munich.

i love it here!! having a blast here. leaving for zurich, switzerland tomorrow. staying with this deaf guy we met at the party here in munich. nice to have connections now.

visited the dachau concentration camp today. so depressing.. im so glad its history.

thinking of u all back in america!!


p.s. it rained everydaz except for one day here in europe. jeez.

munich. after 6.5 hours on the train from berlin, we finally got to munich. as soon as we checked into our hostel, we were off to the deaf beach themed party here in munich. wow. all i can say is that people here can definitelz stay up all night. nobodz left the party until 5 am. i only got 4 hours sleep today. will definitelz sleep early tonight. :)

berlin

we have been in berlin the last 3 days. a lovely city (but poor with graffiti everywhere). had a difficult time communicating with people here compared to the other countries we ve been to. we went into this department store and soon discovered that we passed as someone from germany and a saleslady spoke german...of course i wasnt able to lip-read.

went on the bike tour yesterdaz, it lasted 3.5 hours. funny how we ve been meeting people here that are from california.. perhaps people from california are world travelers :)

we are off to munich. made a typical american mistake yestzerday by telling the ladz at the train station that we wanted to leave at 1:00 todaz...she misundeerstood and thought 1am... oops. i meant 13:00.

hopefully will be meeting up with a bunch of deaf people in munich for a beach themed party tonight.

berlin

i truly liked amsterdam. such a lovely city ... was really unsatsified when we left today. felt that we didnt get to do as much as i wanted to do there -- definitely a place to come back to!! we took the train to berlin today. 6 and half hour ride. lvoe the hostel so far_- but only staying here one night then moving on to a different hostel tomorrow.

everything is fine

yes a couple of bombs/threats occured in london the last few days. but we're fine. leaving for amsterdam tonight.

day three in london

i love the city. too bad it's so expensive!! today we walked around the westminister/thames river area. i nearly got hit by the london ambulance!! they drive on the "island" area where people stand before acrossing the street..how was i supposed to know they drive on that?! haha... well a good scare it was. we also checked out the national gallery and the british library. saw the 9 3/4 platform at king's cross (think harry potter). pretty cool. met up with some new friends and headed out to the pub tonight again.

met even more people. i think i will be expecting some visitors to usa :) im definitely coming back.

even though it rained today, i m falling in love with london.i went to this deaf pub tonight and met so many cool people. mom would be happy to hear that i met this really cute jewish guy named eli. exchanged emails with some people, will meet up with them again while im in तोवं


dad, i met ej cohen, she lives in london now... small world!!! more updates later.

Leaving next week

Here's my itinerary as of right now:

Fly to Dublin, Ireland- Fly to London. Take the overnight ferry to Amsterdam from London. Take the Train from Amsterdam to Berlin, Germany.


We'll decide the rest later ! :)

It's unbelievable how fast time have gone by. I'm already into the second week of summer school and am leaving for Europe in 34 days.
